Module Overview

The Module Overview is provided at the beginning of each module and is a high-level document to help you better understand the mathematics for that module.

The Module Overview describes the mathematics in the upcoming module. It is a high-level document meant to provide teachers with the information they will need to better understand how lessons build to achieve understanding within the topics and how topics build to achieve understanding within the module. 

For a high-level understanding of how the modules build to achieve understanding throughout the full course you are teaching, it is recommended to read all of the Module Overviews to understand the full scope of the mathematics for the school year.

Each module begins with an overview that describes the reasoning behind the name, brief summary of the developing mathematics within each topic of the module, and connections to prior and future learning.
