Lesson Videos
Each lesson has one or more corresponding videos that provide student-facing direct instruction on key concepts from the lesson.
Lesson videos are available to both teachers and students and are always student-facing. They summarize the key concepts from each lesson. However, they are not intended to serve as stand-alone instructional videos.
Teachers should encourage students to use the Lesson Videos if they need additional support with the content from the lesson or want to review content in preparation for an assessment. Families and caregivers can use the videos if they want more information about the content students are learning in class and to support their students at home.
Teachers seeking support in understanding the Carnegie Learning approach to the math content in a lesson should consider watching the lesson overview videos as part of their planning process.
Every video includes closed captioning in both English and Spanish. The Grade 6 videos have English and Spanish audio options.
