Family & Caregiver Video

Each course has a Family & Caregiver Guide video that helps families and caregivers understand how to support their student(s) while they are using the Texas Math Solution.

The Family and Caregiver Guide Videos are available through the Students & Caregivers Portal on the Texas Support Center. The course-level video is located under the Module and Family Caregiver Guide and expands on the information found in the guide. The  video is designed to help families and caregivers understand how to support and partner with their student(s) while they are using the Texas Math Solution. Each course level video provides an opportunity for families to work through and discuss an example of the mathematics in every topic of each module. The videos help bridge student learning in the classroom to student learning at home, empowering families to review and solidify the understanding of key course concepts and skills together.

Three additional general overview videos provide caregivers with a tour of the various Family and Caregiver resources, a walkthrough of the design and components of a student lesson, and a look at the resources available to help teachers facilitate engaging mathematical discourse in the classroom.
