MATHia Got a Makeover!

That's right. We've incorporated your feedback to give MATHia a brand new look, making it easier to use, more intuitive, and even more appealing and engaging for your students. We're also working on even more designs that students can choose from in the future to create their very own customized learning environment.

In addition to the brand new look, we've also included even more just-in-time support to help students overcome any misconceptions they may have. Finally, we've enhanced the available tools in order to more deeply engage students in their personalized learning experience.

Getting started with MATHia has never been easier with our new personalized guided tours for you and your students.

Setting Up Your Classes Quickly and Easily

You'll have an improved process for creating classes and assigning material! Let the new Progress Bar in the Create Class Wizard guide you through the four quick steps for creating classes, assigning content, and enrolling students. This new process also features the ability to assign any licensed digital textbook materials (e.g. the Student Editions and Skills Practice). If licensed, you can even assign eBook access to your students. We know that creating classes is probably the last thing that you want to do when preparing for the new school year, so we're also going to release a new 'Copy Class' tool, making class setup easier (and faster!) than ever before.

Streamlined MyCL Experience

Student and teacher dashboards in MyCL will have a new streamlined experience and look. Gone are the days of having to search for digital textbook materials in the Resource Center! The new MyCL experience for students enables them to launch directly into their assigned digital textbook and eBook materials with just one click! You'll also be able to go directly to a specific digital textbook from your new Textbook button on MyCL. You can still access the Resource Center to view Community tools, Online PD videos, and Home Connection materials. Check out our robust Tech Support pages to view Getting Started videos, access teacher and student How-To Guides, and download the Carnegie Learning Parent Letter to send home with students.

Improved Pacing Guidance

Pacing Data will be built right into Teachers Toolkit, so you can see approximately how many hours of curriculum you've assigned in order to easily set up accurate benchmarks and goals for each class.

Text-to-Speech for ELL Students and Struggling Readers

The new Text-to-Speech feature reads math to students the way a math teacher would, which is particularly helpful for ELL students and struggling readers. It even allows students to choose the voice of the reader—including a Spanish accent for Spanish speakers—and play, pause, or stop the narration at their convenience.

Exciting New Content to Assign Your Students

You've heard all about our brand new high school textbooks, and now MATHia will have new sequences aligned to them. It also has a brand new financial literacy course you can assign to students to help prepare them for math in the real world.
