EXCLUDING QUESTIONS FROM GRADING (AND REPORTS)
NOTIFICATIONS
We’ve added a new system Notification feature.
From your Classes dashboard, when there is a new Notification available, you will see the Notification icon (circle/number) in the main menu bar.
Note: The number indicates how many notifications are currently available.
UNSUBMIT FUNCTIONALITY UPDATE
We've updated the Unsubmit feature in the Gradebook, for teachers, to now allow students to modify all answers and then resubmit their work.
- From the Gradebook, locate the student whose assignment you would like to Unsubmit and hover over the Submitted date to bring up the Unsubmit button.
- Click Unsubmit. The assignment is now available for the student to go back in and modify all answers submitted by students, regardless of item type. They can then resubmit the assignment when they are done.
REMINDER: You will need to Edit the assignment status if the Due Date/Time has passed, as the assignment will be considered Closed. Move it to the Started status in order for students to go back in and make any modifications.
EXCLUDING QUESTIONS FROM GRADING (AND REPORTS)
We've updated Gradebook so you can now exclude items from an assignment for grading/reporting purposes.
Be advised that this does not remove the item from the student’s view of the assigned lesson material.
Additionally, the Exclude feature is only available before the assignment status is set to Graded, in the Assignment Status.
- From the Details screen, you can now access the Exclude feature by hovering over the question numbers.
- Click the “Exclude this item from score” checkbox. The question is now excluded from grading (and reporting).
