IMPLEMENTATION FIDELITY DAYS

Implementation Fidelity days are Professional Development opportunities that provide insight as to how teachers are implementing. During these days, Carnegie Learning’s Managers of School Partnerships visit schools and classrooms. They support teachers through one-on-one conversations as well as group discussions by:

  • Observing classrooms and labs for an entire period.
  • Discussing Teacher’s Toolkit reports.
  • Assisting in planning and pacing.
  • Debriefing.
  • Making recommendations to enhance the classroom and lab implementations.
  • Offering suggestions for follow-up workshops.

At the conclusion of the day the Managers of School Partnerships complete an Implementation Fidelity rubric for each teacher visited. This tool can be used by the school and by Carnegie Learning to identify strengths and weaknesses with the implementation.
